While gifts are not expected, I have been asked about my preferences.

As we get to know each other you’ll learn about my interests, what I like and my sense of style—that’s part of the fun! In the meantime, if you’d like to surprise me I am developing my taste for old world wines. Perhaps you can introduce me to something that rivals the new world in its elegance and complexity. And I love chocolate!

Drinking

I like medium to full bodied red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, especially those from Bordeaux or Napa Valley; Syrahs from the northern Rhone, Burgundy and anything from the Piedmont region in Italy.

I like my champagne brut. I also love black teas or interesting blends.

Dining

The Modern (Midtown) - I adore the mix of old world cuisine in modern surroundings and surroundings don’t come more modern than this! Let’s linger over the delectable tasting menu and feel the tension rise.

Le Bernardin (Midtown) - I’m a sucker for fine dining and Le Bernardin is the finest of them all. Let’s retreat for a grand, leisurely affair and revel in bite after delicious bite.

Jean-Georges (Columbus Circle) - Want to nibble on dishes with top quality ingredients surrounded by an impeccable ambiance? Then let’s take a whirl at Jean-Georges’ flagship.

The Grill (Midtown) - Let’s get to know each other a little better in the same rooms Kissinger and Rockefeller wet their whistles. History, power and delectable food—the trifecta of aphrodisiacs.

Marea (Columbus Circle) - I love the slip of an oyester down my throat. Maybe you like them meaty. I prefer them when they’re delicate but pack a punch—remind you of anyone around here? ;)

Atomix (Murray Hill) - I’ve been meaning to try this place for months. Maybe you can win the gourmet lottery and secure us a table…

SAGA (Financial District) - Time to dine on cloud nine! I simply love the idea of indulging in some scrumptious food and wine while looking over Manhattan from the 63rd floor of a historic building.

Raouls - If you ever need a reminder of the eclectic charm that makes this city so captivating, join me at this funky, casual yet stylish gem. How about we snuggle up in one of the booths and whisper sweet nothings as we order another glass of soixante quinze? Oh la la ;)
